Goodland Academy's mission is to make exemplary people.

The purpose of a Goodland education is to help its students attain their full potential as persons, to develop in them a capacity and passion for lifelong learning, and to prepare them for fulfilling lives of leadership and service in society. We believe in a holistic approach to education that addresses the person in mind, body, and soul.

Goodland Academy was started over 170 years ago to serve the needs of the Choctaw and Chickasaw nations. Goodland has served children since Margaret Stark took three boys into her home and used the Bible as her text book. This laid a foundation of Christ-centered education for vulnerable youth. Over the decades, Goodland has transformed thousands of lives and helped young people realize their full God-given potential. As we enter into our third century of service, we are applying our time-tested holistic principles to help a new generation of students overcome their learning and behavioral challenges.
